Return & Refund Policy

Rice is a food-grade commodity supplied in bulk. Because of food-safety norms, opened or partly used lots cannot be resold, so returns are governed by the rules below rather than a general "change of mind" return window.

1. Sampling Before Purchase

• We encourage every first-time buyer to order a paid sample or inspect the lot at our mill before confirming a bulk order.
• The dispatched lot will match the approved sample's variety, grade and specification.

2. Quality Claims

• Claims regarding variety, admixture, moisture, broken percentage or infestation must be raised within 48 hours of delivery, with unopened sealed bags, lot numbers and photographs.
• We may test a jointly drawn sample against the lot's quality report. If the lot genuinely fails the agreed specification, we will — at our option — replace the lot or refund the value of the affected bags.
• Claims on opened, repacked, mixed or improperly stored stock cannot be accepted.

3. Transit Shortage / Damage

• Shortage or damage must be noted on the transporter's POD at delivery and intimated to us within 48 hours with photographs.
• Where transit insurance was taken, claims follow the insurer's process; we assist with documentation.

4. Cancellations

• Orders may be cancelled free of charge before milling/packing begins.
• Once a lot is milled, packed or stencilled to your order (including private-label packing), cancellation charges up to the cost incurred apply. Dispatched consignments cannot be cancelled.
• Export orders follow the cancellation terms stated in the export contract/quotation.

5. Refund Method & Timeline

• Approved refunds are made to the original payment method / bank account within 7–10 working days of claim approval.
